How to register my site in the directory?

Go in the heading which relates to your site, click on the bond "To propose a site in this heading", and compltethe forms which follow.

Which are the conditions to be registered in the Directory?

The conditions are described in the "Contact", webpage, in the paragraph "Rights of user". Schematically, the site suggested must correspond to the objective of the Directory (Graphic arts and business of the Communication) and to the set of themes of the selected heading.

The Directory seems not to find my website

When you propose the reference of a website, the Directory tests the connection to verify the existence of the site, and find the title there. It sometimes happens that your site is not reachable. Either it is re-directed on another address, or the title of your document is missing. Correct this page which you wish to reference on the Directory and propose again its referencing here. Redirections are not accepted.

Is the inscription free?

The inscription of a website in the Directory is free. But it is not therefore an engagement of our share to reference your website here. The conditions of referencing are clarified in the Contact page.

What is the period(delay) of publication of my reference?

When you propose a website to be referenced, the moderator is warned quickly. The reference perhaps published in the minutes which follow, or to ask a few days. All depends on the workload in progress and the number of sites on standby of validation. If your proposal is posted in a heading which does not correspond to the set of themes of your page, your proposal is not accepted. It is the same if your site is 'under construction', if it is redirected on another field, if it does not have a title of page, or any other technical problem which prevents us from correctly visualizing the page indicated.

Did my website disappear from the directory?

If the reference of your site disappeared from the Directory, it is that its presence is not appropriate for the ethics of the Directory, or that it is not easily reachable, or quite simply because it does not have any more its place in the Directory.

How to remove a reference?

Send a e-mail to the moderator (see the contacts page) with the word "removing" in title field. The address e-mail of the transmitter will be used to determine the name of the field concerned. The reference of the site corresponding to this domain name will be removed.

Heading missing for my site.

Propose your website in the heading which seems to you closest to the subject, the moderator will create a sub-heading and will move the reference of your website there if that seems necessary.

The screenshot of my website is obsolete

When you discover a reference of website with an old screenshot, simply click on the link "Indicate a broken or doubtful link". The reference will be checked quickly and the screenshot will be updated.

The quality of the screenshot is bad

The labels are get from screenshots servers, like Alexa.org, Girafa, Thumbzor, Thumshots.org ou Webdesignbook.net. They are very often the pale graphic representation of your website. The best solution is still to place a file ascreen.jpg on your web server. For more information on this process, consult the site Ascreen Apocalx.

The description of my website obsolete

Update the description of your site in the meta field of target page to be referred, then return on the directory and declare the link as broken or doubtful. The directory will automatically seek new description on your website and will update the recording present in the directory.
